What is mindful eating?
Based on mindfulness meditation, a well-known Buddhist practice, mindful eating is the practice of being fully present and aware of your eating experiences as well as your feelings and thoughts on food. While eating a meal, mindfulness can make you aware when you’ve had enough to eat, not only because you are more attentive to feelings of fullness but also more aware of the food’s flavor.
