With online classes keeping us at our desks all day, it's important to have good ergonomics in order to minimize any stiffness and pain. Here's a few tips to improve your workspace ergonomics:
The monitor should be at eye level and slightly tilted. Keep the monitor at an arm's length away.
Make sure the weight of your arms is always supported. Relax the shoulders and have minimal bend at the wrist. Keep the keyboard and mouse close to prevent excess reaching.
Have a backrest and armrest, and adjust the height as necessary.
Keep the thighs parallel to the floor.
Your feet should not dangle when you are seated. Use a footrest if necessary.
